Appointment & Visit
How can I prepare my pet for their visit?
For dogs: Bring them on a leash, consider a light walk before to reduce energy, and bring their favorite treats.
For cats: Use a secure carrier with familiar bedding, cover with a towel to reduce stress, and avoid feeding 2-3 hours before travel.
For all pets: Bring any medical records, list of medications, and note any behavioral concerns. Arrive 10 minutes early for paperwork.

🌿 Fear-Free Tip:
We use pheromone diffusers in our exam rooms. Ask about our pre-visit anti-anxiety medications for particularly nervous pets.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee, except in emergency situations. We send reminder texts/emails 48 hours before your appointment to help you remember. You can cancel or reschedule easily through our online portal.
Can I stay with my pet during procedures?
In most cases, yes! We encourage owner presence for examinations and non-sedated procedures. For surgical procedures or situations requiring sterility, we’ll provide comfortable waiting areas with regular updates. We use video monitoring in some areas so you can watch your pet’s procedure from our waiting room.
Pricing & Insurance
Do you accept pet insurance?
Yes, we work with all major pet insurance providers and can help you with claim submissions. We’re a preferred provider for several companies, which may offer you additional benefits. While we don’t bill insurance directly (except for certain wellness plans), we provide detailed invoices with diagnostic codes to simplify your reimbursement process.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, cash, and CareCredit (a medical credit card for pets). We also offer ScratchPay for flexible payment plans. All payment is due at time of service. For estimates exceeding $500, we’re happy to provide written treatment plans with cost breakdowns.
Do you offer payment plans or financial assistance?
We offer several options: CareCredit with promotional 0% interest periods, ScratchPay for customized payment plans, and in-house payment arrangements for established clients. We also have a charitable fund for qualifying emergency cases—ask our client care team about eligibility.
